13 Aug Cocktails & Casas: Muirfield & The Lavender French 75
In this chapter of Cocktails & Casas, we step back in time to the leafy streets of Hancock Park, where tradition meets artistry in a historic Tudor revival—and elegance lingers in every corner.
Nestled in one of Los Angeles’s most storied neighborhoods, Muirfield is a stately two-story Tudor home that blends architectural history with bohemian soul. Restored and brought to life through the creative lens of interior designer Hillary Hayne, the home now carries a richly layered identity: part classic, part eclectic, entirely original.
The interiors feature a curated mix of traditional, vintage, and bohemian elements—rich textiles, storied antiques, and unexpected modern flourishes. The crown jewel? A conservatory-style dining room addition, crowned with a copper cupola and lit by the glow of a grand crystal chandelier. It’s a space made for candlelit dinners and clinking glasses.
Outside, a lush English garden winds through outdoor living areas that invite intimate conversation and late-night cocktails under the stars. It’s a home made not just for living, but for gathering.

🥂 The Lavender French 75
To match Muirfield’s romantic charm and refined eclecticism, we’re pairing it with a Lavender French 75—a sparkling cocktail that’s classic and feminine, with a floral note that feels right at home among vintage crystal and copper tones.
Why it works:
The French 75 is a timeless drink rooted in tradition (just like Muirfield), and the lavender infusion adds a playful, boho twist—much like the interior styling. It’s celebratory, subtle, and elegant. Perfect for sipping in a garden or beneath a glittering chandelier.

Muirfield is a home that honors tradition but never stops evolving. The Lavender French 75 captures that same balance—sophisticated and slightly unexpected, with layers of beauty and flavor.
