Gifts for an Aspiring Architect!

Gifts for an Aspiring Architect!

Why hello there!
Looks like another week has passed making it less than a week for the holidays to be here! Things are great and there is nothing to worry about (stress sweat runs down face). Now that we are entering crunch time, we have some great gift ideas for those little (and big) Archi-babies that we have in our life. Many of these gifts don’t take long for shipping #thankyouAmazonPrime or you can make it like a gift certificate. Check out what we came up with below!

1. Blocks or LEGOs!

Blocks are a great way for our Archi-babies to play with and start to figure out shapes and how they come together. You’re going to need some more foundation blocks to hold that up Timothy! These wood blocks are great because they help with learning colors too and come in different height blocks or mixed shapes!

If this seems too young for your Archi-baby, then LEGOs might be a better choice but we suggest you let their imagination run free and get a tub of pieces instead of the kits with instructions. The only instruction is to have fun!

2. Books!

Those Archi-baby minds are growing fast and so fueling them with fun informative books is a two-for-one! Iggy Peck, Architect, Rosie Revere, Engineer and From Mud Huts to Skyscrapers are just some cute examples we found from the many choices out there.

3. Art Classes

Gifts are great but also get collected in your home and if you are tight on space then an activity is a great idea! Art classes are fun because our Archi-babies can learn some new skills. Here are three examples of places we found for art classes:

4. Day at a Museum

Along with the gift idea from above, a museum trip can be a great quality time present for your older Archi-baby. The Getty, MOCA and the Norton Simon Museum are some museums that would make a fun day trip gift!

5. Hard Hat

If you look like an Architect.. then be an Architect! This is a fun gift to help your Archi-baby look the part!

6. Drawing Kits

Get your Archi-baby’s hands going with the basics, pen and paper! Here are some ideas to get them started! For the youngsters, a doodle pad and some jumbo crayons are a good fit but for the more advanced kids a sketch pad and color pencils would be the way to go!

We hope these gift ideas helped you out with what to get your Archi-baby! Let us know what we missed. We will see you next and hope everyone has a very happy holidays with their love ones!
