May we show what’s on the Boards… Malibu Modern Fire Rebuild

May we show what’s on the Boards… Malibu Modern Fire Rebuild

Friday seemed to come super quick this week! So we are just going to leave you with a quick introduction for a new project we have on the boards here@Hayne.

As a victim of the Woolsey Fire, we are trying to work quickly to get approvals and rebuild this single family residence in Malibu California. Revit allows us to streamline our process and with planning approval to rebuild on the footprint of the former home we are looking at our wall assemblies and exploring the potential for incorporating some concrete walls.

Check out some of the views and stay tuned for future updates!

Aerial View – Line Drawing in Revit

Preliminary interior view of the main Living Space. You can see we weren’t quite finished with our model… don’t mind the floating countertop…

Interior View of the Master Suite Sleeping Loft … Just imagine those Malibu Hillside views.

Exterior Rendering looking at the Massing and Materials. We are looking at a mixture of Board-formed Concrete walls, Concrete Panels and Corrugated Metal wall panels to help break up the volumes.

Interior Rendering of Main Living Space … Default Materials, but at least the countertop isn’t floating anymore. And don’t worry, that bulky chaise will become an Eames Lounger in future views…

Check back soon as this project will be moving quickly!
