Located along Malibu’s iconic Pacific Coast Highway, this commercial tenant improvement transforms a freestanding building into a contemporary design studio for a landscape architecture firm. Hayne Architects reimagined the space to balance functionality with modern style, featuring open studio areas, private offices, and presentation rooms. A striking metal barrel-vaulted ceiling adds industrial character while emphasizing the building’s architectural features. Expansive windows maximize natural light, creating an inspiring environment for collaboration and creativity. The design also incorporates a light exhibit by artist Robert Irwin, blending art and architecture seamlessly.
