FOOSE RD, MALIBU CALIFORNIA
Reimagined after wildfire, Foose Road is a modern coastal rebuild that embraces resilience, clarity, and connection to the Pacific. Designed to frame expansive ocean views, glass corners and strategically placed windows dissolve the boundary between interior and landscape, capturing light and horizon from every major space.
The exterior is composed of smooth, concrete-toned stucco paired with mill-finish aluminum windows—an understated palette that allows form, proportion, and setting to lead. Inside, a double-height living room anchors the home, drawing natural light deep into the space and connecting to a loft-style primary suite above. Polished concrete floors ground the main level, complementing the warmth of walnut cabinetry in the kitchen.
A detached garage with a guest suite above is thoughtfully stacked alongside the primary living volume, linked by a balcony connection that creates both separation and cohesion. The result is a refined, modern retreat—rebuilt with intention and oriented entirely toward the ocean beyond.
