Nestled into a private Topanga hillside, this residential remodel and addition transforms a wooded property into a warm, inviting retreat. In collaboration with Hayne Interior Design, the project embraces a rustic country aesthetic, blending reclaimed wood, natural stone, and aged metals for a layered, textural interior.
A natural creek runs through the site, framed by expansive windows and open living spaces that seamlessly connect indoors and out. The kitchen, featured as “Kitchen of the Month” in House Beautiful (May 2008), showcases custom Farmhouse Cabinetry and thoughtful detailing that balances function and style.
Indoor-outdoor living, terraced decks, and curated furnishings create a harmonious, site-sensitive home that feels both private and deeply connected to its hillside surroundings.
