LAWLESS, NORTH HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA
This adaptive reuse project transforms a former industrial factory into a vibrant microbrewery in the heart of North Hollywood. The design highlights the existing exposed steel framing and ductwork, complemented by a crisp palette of corrugated white metal and polished concrete floors. A soaring double-height central space houses the brewery and tasting area with no separation, immersing patrons in the sights, sounds, and aromas of the brewing process. Large skylights flood the interior with natural light, enhancing the interplay of steel and concrete while reducing the need for artificial lighting. A mezzanine level offers additional seating, providing elevated views of the brewery floor while maintaining the openness of the space.
