Project Spotlight: Claremont Kitchen Color Scheme Dilema

Project Spotlight: Claremont Kitchen Color Scheme Dilema

To be white or to be blue, that is the question.

Out Claremont House interior remodel project continues as we try to finalize our kitchen cabinetry.  The primary focus in this kitchen is the gorgeous French range from Lacanche.  The traditional range we are looking at comes in a variety of colors but we are specifically looking at the range in white or French Blue, both with brass trim.

Here is our interior elevation showing the range. We are utilizing tall cabinetry on either side of the range to “box it in”. We are using a traditional face-frame shaker style cabinetry with flush doors and drawers.

So, let’s take it into Enscape to look at some color combination options.  We made sure that all of the cabinetry and trim was using one material (i.e. Kitchen Cabinetry Finish) and had some fun…

Option 1: The all white kitchen.

Option 2: White cabinets and French Blue Range.

Option 3: All blue kitchen. Disclaimer: The blue used in this rendering is not an exact match to the Lacanche French Blue finish. I think Revit needs an “eyedropper” tool.

Option 4: Blue range wall and lower cabinetry with white upper wall cabinets.
