15 Dec RIDGE-house: If a Story Pole Falls Down…
As discussed in an earlier post Hide and Seek: “Can you see me now?” says the RIDGE-house, the visibility of this proposed residence from a defined Scenic Corridor was a primary concern. Rendered views of the proposed residence in-situ were produced and submitted in July of 2013. After an extended review process and an EIR the Story Poles were finally installed on November 23,2014.
Just after installation however, they mysteriously “fell” down.
The story poles are a critical element in the design review and approval process, because it gives a physical/tangible mass and volume to be viewed and reviewed from all vantage points… and so we arranged to have them re-installed for an additional fee…but not without also installing a Bushnell 119420CW 5MP Trophy Cam Essential Trail Camera with Night Vision:
On December 1, 2014 the poles were up… again.
On December 9, 2014 we went back to check up on the poles… and surprise, surprise they were down again.
So what did the Bushnell catch? Vandalism in the act.
To put them up again or to not put them up again… That is the question. For now, the Bushnell has been passed off to the local authorities…
