SpooOoky Season: Haunted L.A.

SpooOoky Season: Haunted L.A.

Play Me!

BOO!

Halloween weekend is this weekend and it’s time to get our spoOoky on! What better way to get in the spoOoky spirit than to visit a haunted place! Check out below some places that are known to be haunted in Los Angeles and click the image to find out the history of each structure. Enter if you dare! Mauhahahahaha!

Here’s a map of the different spoOoky locations in L.A.

1. Hotel Roosevelt

This hotel has stories of getting visits from “past” visitors such as Marilyn Monroe and late actor Montgomery Clift. Guests have asked the front desk to tell their neighbor to stop playing the trumpet in the middle of the night.. when that room is vacant… EEK!

2. The Comedy Store

The now Comedy Store used to be called Ciro’s Nightclub and the owner had ties to the mob. The basement was used to “take care” of problem people which is where employees have said they’ve heard cries and voices down there.

3. Pantages Theater

The past theater’s owner, Howard Hughes, apparently still keeps an eye on his theater by walking around and sometimes standing over workers to inspect their work. #workaholic

4. The Culver Studios

The Culver Studios is rumored to be haunted by Thomas Ince, the founder and silent film producer, and workers that once roamed this building. Voices and silhouettes have been heard and seen.

5. Yamashiro Restaurant

Great food, great view and a little bit of spook. Supposedly, a crying bride is heard in the bridal suite and a woman in white has been seen. Plus, the owner’s ashes were buried in the garden where his silhouette has been seen. Aw he loves his restaurant.

We hope you all have a very Happy and SAFE Halloween! Let us know if you enter any wondering spirits!
