04 Jul The Hayne Way: Hayne’s Four Freedoms
In honor of the Fourth of July, we thought we would share the four office freedoms that we have at our office.
Our founding father, the big boss man, Robbin Hayne has decreed…
One. Remote Fridays.
Fridays have been a standing remote work day since COVID. Check out “We work Remote” on how we set up our remote workstations to stay comfortable and focused!
Two. In Office Flexibility.
With all of us being set up for remote work, it is easier to have in-office flexibility. Kids are sick? We can work remote. Have doctor’s appointments scheduled? We can work remote. Have to leave early to catch a kindergarten play? We can make up our hours remote.
Three. The Freedom of Participation.
Everyone has a seat at the table… unless you are taking the picture!
This is a small office freedom. From day one working here everyone has the opportunity to participate in every aspect of a project. We don’t get sent to the corner to draw commercial bathrooms for years on end… Wait… wasn’t I just doing that a couple of weeks ago…
Four. Open Office Policy.
Have dogs? Bring them in. Have the kids after an early dismissal? Bring them in. Have family coming in from out of town? Bring them in… should we do an office BBQ.
Bonus: Office Parties!
We will celebrate ANYTHING. It’s Wednesday? Let’s do lunch. Client’s birthday? Let’s pull out a cake! Holidays? Of course, we are getting our celebration on!
